Personal Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and session and user journey information about how you browse and interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • Cookies are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.

  • Log files track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

  • Web beacons, tags, pixels, and similar technologies are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site, and may also be used in emails to measure engagement (for example, whether an email was opened and which links were clicked).

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address (if applicable), payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

Newsletter platform data. When you subscribe, read, or interact with read.youreverydayai.com, we may collect information such as your email address (if you subscribe), subscription status, preferences, and engagement data (for example, email opens/clicks and on-site reading interactions) to provide and improve newsletter content and user experience.

If you enroll in Everyday AI courses, trainings, or related programs (including Prime Prompt Polish and similar offerings), we may collect information such as your name, email address, purchase and billing information, enrollment details, course progress (for example, lesson/module completion), completion/certificate status, and engagement with course materials.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information, and also the community, newsletter, and course/training data described above.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, delivering digital products and services, arranging shipping when applicable, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you;

  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We may use Device Information and engagement information for audience and content analytics. This can include measuring performance of newsletters (for example, opens, clicks, and reading interactions) and measuring performance of podcast and content distribution in ways made available by platforms and providers (for example, aggregated download or engagement metrics), to improve our content, products, and user experience, and to support reporting on overall performance.

We use Device Information for purposes of retargeting. We may use Google Analytics and/or advertising networks to show visitors ads across the internet outside of pages on the Site. We may use third-party vendors to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on users’ past visits and behaviors collected on the Site, our social media pages, or email newsletter.

Email Communications

When you subscribe to our newsletter, download content, register for events, enroll in courses, join communities, or otherwise provide your email address, you consent to receive communications from Everyday AI. These communications may include newsletters, educational content, promotional messages, product updates, and information related to our services.

You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by contacting us directly. We use third-party email service providers to manage and deliver these communications.

Anonymized and Aggregated Data

We may create anonymized or aggregated data from Personal Information by removing information that makes the data personally identifiable. Everyday AI may use anonymized or aggregated information for internal purposes such as research, analysis, studies, surveys, trend reporting, and business insights. Data used for Everyday AI studies and surveys is used internally by Everyday AI and is not provided to third parties in a way that could reasonably identify an individual.

Separately, we may share aggregated or de-identified performance metrics (for example, campaign-level or content-level results) with partners or sponsors. These reports are designed not to identify individual users.

Sponsorships and Partner Reporting

Everyday AI works with sponsors and partners. We do not provide sponsors with your Personal Information for their own direct marketing purposes unless you separately and affirmatively provide it to them or explicitly consent.

We may provide sponsors with aggregated or de-identified reporting about sponsorship performance (for example, overall impressions, clicks, downloads, or conversions at an aggregate level) to measure and improve sponsor campaigns.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.

For example, we use Google Analytics to better understand our users’ behavior and provide more relevant content to them. You can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can also opt out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We may also share Personal Information with third-party service providers that help us operate our business and provide services to you (for example, payment processors, email delivery platforms, hosting and infrastructure providers, customer support tools, analytics providers, advertising partners, customer relationship management tools, and course/community/newsletter/content platforms). These providers receive only the information necessary to perform services on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect your data.

We do not sell your Personal Information for money. Some privacy laws define “sell,” “share,” or similar terms broadly to include certain disclosures for advertising or analytics. Where applicable, you can opt out of targeted advertising and certain data disclosures as described below.

To increase transparency, below are examples of third parties that may be involved in analytics and advertising for the Site:

  • Google (for example, Google Analytics and Google advertising services)

  • Meta (for example, Facebook/Instagram advertising services)

  • Microsoft (for example, Bing/Microsoft Advertising)

We may also use additional vendors for email delivery, payments, community hosting, newsletter delivery, course delivery, customer support, and CRM. If you want the current list of those vendors by name, contact us using the information below and we will provide it.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, security, analytics, and advertising/retargeting.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through cookie or consent tools provided on the Site. Some cookies are necessary for the Site to function properly; disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality.

Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies or using non-essential tracking technologies (including certain analytics and advertising cookies). Where required, you may withdraw consent at any time through the same cookie/consent controls.

Targeted Advertising

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s educational page at http://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work.

You can opt out of targeted advertising by:

Additionally, you can opt out of some of these services by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out portal at: http://optout.aboutads.info/.

Universal Opt-Out Signals and Global Privacy Control

Some privacy laws require businesses to recognize opt-out preference signals (also called universal opt-out mechanisms), which can be sent by browser or device settings, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). Multiple U.S. states require honoring these signals for opt-outs relating to targeted advertising and/or the sale or sharing of personal data, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, and Texas (as applicable).

When we detect a valid opt-out preference signal (such as GPC), we will treat it as a request to opt out of applicable processing for that browser or device, as required by law.

Visible confirmation (California). Under updated California regulations, when an opt-out request is made through an opt-out preference signal, businesses are required to display whether the signal has been processed (for example, by displaying “Opt-Out Request Honored” and reflecting status in applicable privacy settings).

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where applicable, if a data breach affects California residents, California law requires notice within 30 calendar days of discovery or notification of the breach, subject to permitted exceptions.
